Fall Festival 2017

Fall festival-the time set aside for our school to have some family fun in a Christian atmosphere.  Whether its dressing up or playing games, fall festival entails fun for the whole family.  The moment you drive onto campus, you feel the energy and the sense that the fall season has definitely arrived. This annual festival sets the tone for autumn, and you definitely don’t want to miss it!

Dressing up in creative costumes is one way for kids to enjoy the event. They can even win prizes! The costume contest is held throughout the night, and the winner is recognized on stage. First grader Connor said, “This year I will dress up as a red lego ninja because I love the color red, and I love ninjas. I think everyone should come to Fall Festival so I can get ideas for what to wear next year.” Not only do kids dress up, but students, parents, and staff also dress up!

Games are at the heart of fall festival. Different games line the perimeters of the gym and allow kids to win crazy fun-filled prizes that will be sure to put a smile on their faces.   Madeline from K5 said, “My favorite thing to do at Fall Festival is play games!” From car racing to putt putting, there are fun games that kids of all ages will enjoy.

Fall festival would not be complete without the food whether it be funnel cakes, nachos, and popcorn available at the concession stand or the annual bake sale complete with fresh-made cookies, brownies, pies, and other fall favorites. The proceeds of the bake sale go toward the senior trip. Please stop by and grab something sweet! Other fun things include the hayride, inflatables, rock climbing wall, cake walk, and a live auction.

Fall festival is also the last day to preorder your annual school yearbook at the discounted rate. The yearbook booth located in the gym. Make your way there and buy your discounted yearbook before it’s too late!

The GCA Fall Festival is a great way to socialize with friends and family, play games, and eat some of your favorite foods while also supporting Greenville Christian Academy.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to have a fun-filled night in a Christian atmosphere.
