Greenville Christian Academy was granted full accreditation status on January 31, 2018 for a five year term through the North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA). The NCCSA accreditation protocol has been formally recognized by the North Carolina Division of Non-Public Education and is approved by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) through a co-accreditation agreement with the North American Christian School Accrediting Agency (NACSAA).
As part of the onsite team visit, a representative of the NACSAA participated in the peer review and report writing process. As a member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation, NACSAA partners with the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) to provide co-accreditation to NCCSA member schools desiring to pursue regional accreditation. GCA is currently pursuing co-accrediation and that is to be decided at their bi-annual meeting this spring.
