Visit Campus

Choosing the right school for your family is a significant decision. You want to get it right, but it takes time to research and process which school is going to be the best fit.

At Greenville Christian Academy, we’re delighted you are considering joining our community! To help you learn more about us, we offer a number of different ways you can explore our campus.

ways to visit

Personal Campus Tours

Come experience GCA firsthand and schedule a personal tour. In-person tours are the best way to see what sets us apart from other private Christian schools in Greenville, N.C. There’s no better way to capture our vision and mission than to actually set foot on GCA’s beautiful campus.

On your tour, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Visit classrooms, where you’ll see the learning experience come to life; students learning to collaborate with their peers and problem solve through fun, engaging projects.
  • Explore the facilities, such as our auditorium that showcases our many fine arts opportunities, and gymnasium, home to state championship caliber athletics teams.
  • Speak with the administrators, teachers, and coaches, who will be shaping character and building close-knit relationships with your children throughout their time at GCA.

You also have the option to attend chapel and meet with the finance manager to discuss financial assistance.

Student Shadow Experiences

For parents who want the opportunity for their child to “try out” the school, we recommend a student shadow experience. Your child would be paired with one of our students and have the chance to follow them around during part of the day. Much like test driving a car, a shadow experience is the perfect option for families who want to narrow down school choices. Shadow Days are offered to students entering 6th – 12th grade.

Still unsure which option is right for you? We are happy to share more about what you can expect at a tour or shadow experience at GCA. Just contact us with your questions at admissions@greenvillechristian.com or call (252) 756-0939.

Questions other parents ask before visiting campus …

Are children allowed on the campus tour?

Yes! Parents are encouraged to bring their children so that they can meet teachers and future friends, as well as become more comfortable with the learning environment.

Is there anything our family should know before our first campus visit?

As you visit our campus and learn more about our school, we also want the chance to get to know your family! Prior to your visit, we might ask you some questions about your child’s interest in extracurriculars, academic needs, and church involvement. This helps us to personalize your visit and make the most of our time together.

When we arrive for a tour, where do we go?

The school is located just past People’s Baptist Church. Please park in front of the school and enter at the main office.

How long is the typical personal tour?

30 minutes.

What should I wear?

While the tour is relatively short, we will be covering a lot of ground, indoors and outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather and plan to wear comfortable walking shoes.

During the tour, will we have the opportunity to sit in and observe the classroom?

Our personal tours are designed to show you the different learning spaces on campus. If you are interested in a student shadow experience, please let us know so we can set up an appointment.

Are there any nearby places of interest?

Yes! GCA is just minutes away from downtown Greenville, home to Town Common park and East Carolina University.
