Elyssa Sanford

Elyssa grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as Savior after hearing a missionary story in children’s church. She attended Pensacola Christian College, where she received both her bachelor’s degree in English and her master’s degree in teaching English. Though she originally hails from the great state of Florida, Elyssa is not a beach person. Instead, she prefers reading (especially historical nonfiction), playing board and card games, and solving puzzles. Her favorite book is Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, and her favorite game is Dutch Blitz. She has taught at GCA for 6 years and enjoys influencing students’ lives.
