Mike Lopez
Mike was saved at 12 years of age and surrendered to full time ministry at 17. While in college, he spent his summers traveling as a youth evangelist and developed a burden for children and teens. After graduating from college, he and his wife traveled as college representatives to 35 states promoting Christian college and challenging young people to surrender their lives to the Lord. He then served for 4 years as the Church Administrator for the Campus Church affiliated with Pensacola Christian College. Mike and his wife Amy have two daughters, Elena and Aurora. Mike teaches high school Apologetics and Latin.
Mike also serves as an Accreditation Review Team member on the Cognia Accreditation Review Board. Serving on a review team is one of the most valuable professional learning experiences. He travels to schools around the nation and provides feedback for their accreditation. Doing this allows him to gain a wide perspective on how other schools operate so that he can bring the best of what he sees back to GCA.
Mike served as the school administrator for 8 years and is transitioning to the US Army chaplaincy. His primary responsibility now is to oversee the completion of the reaccreditation process.
