She serves as the high school math teacher and loves teaching complex math concepts to high school students. While at East Carolina University, Emily gained experience by teaching in their math department. Her favorite things to do include hiking, reading, and spending time outside. She currently teaches Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus.

Accreditation ConsultantMike was saved at 12 years of age and surrendered to full time ministry at 17. While in college, he spent his summers traveling as a youth evangelist and developed a burden for children and teens. After graduating from college, he and his wife traveled as college representatives to 35 states promoting Christian college and challenging young people to surrender their lives to the Lord. He then served for 4 years as the Church Administrator for the Campus Church affiliated with Pensacola Christian College. Mike and his wife Amy have two daughters, Elena and Aurora. Mike teaches high school Apologetics and Latin.
Mike also serves as an Accreditation Review Team member on the Cognia Accreditation Review Board. Serving on a review team is one of the most valuable professional learning experiences. He travels to schools around the nation and provides feedback for their accreditation. Doing this allows him to gain a wide perspective on how other schools operate so that he can bring the best of what he sees back to GCA.
Mike served as the school administrator for 8 years and is transitioning to the US Army chaplaincy. His primary responsibility now is to oversee the completion of the reaccreditation process.

After receiving her B.S. in elementary education from Bob Jones University, Jeannine made the elementary classroom her forum for sharing Jesus with every boy and girl who has passed through her room. Her passion is to see her students recognize that Jesus wants a real and personal relationship with each of them. Ms. Roebuck has used a storytelling teaching style, music, and games to make her subject matter exciting and memorable. She has a passion for seeing her young people succeed.

High School and College EnglishElyssa grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ as Savior after hearing a missionary story in children’s church. She attended Pensacola Christian College, where she received both her bachelor’s degree in English and her master’s degree in teaching English. Though she originally hails from the great state of Florida, Elyssa is not a beach person. Instead, she prefers reading (especially historical nonfiction), playing board and card games, and solving puzzles. Her favorite book is Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, and her favorite game is Dutch Blitz. She has taught at GCA for 6 years and enjoys influencing students’ lives.
