Challenging. Inspiring. Distinctively Christian

Perhaps you’re the parent of an incoming high school freshman. Or maybe your teenager is already in high school, but the current school environment just isn’t a good fit. You want your child to make the most of their time in high school and build the confidence they need for success in college or their career.

Academic Excellence

Students have the opportunity to explore Honors, Advanced Placement, and Dual-Enrollment opportunities at the high school level. Our faculty and staff provide guidance and support to help your child navigate classes that align with preferred majors and career choices. Students can graduate from GCA with 18 hours of college credit through selected courses that integrate seamlessly into the high school schedule.

Biblical Worldview

At GCA, high school students are equipped to navigate secular ideas, and learn how the laws of logic empower them to confidently defend the Christian worldview. The Bible holds authority over and informs everything we do across campus; from science and art classes to physical education. The biblical worldview is shaped through chapel services that address important current cultural issues and often feature guest speakers.

Liberal Arts Focus

GCA high school’s intensive liberal arts college prep program equips students for post-secondary education by focusing on core subject skills supplemented by practical elective courses. Students get a taste of college level work through extensive training in grammar, literature, and composition, along with honors courses in math, history, and English.

Electives and Extracurricular Activities

We offer various electives and extracurricular activities, including Student Government Association (SGA), Yearbook, Computer Classes, Music, and Drama. SGA students produce a twice-weekly video that is broadcast into classrooms with prayer, sports and weather updates, student birthdays, and more. Students interested in graphic design, writing, and photography share their talents by producing our annual yearbook. Computer classes are an excellent fit if your teen enjoys computer science. Performing arts opportunities abound with options to participate in choir, band, private music lessons, and drama.

Championship-Winning Athletics

Your teen will find a wealth of opportunities to participate in GCA’s championship-caliber athletics program. The varsity baseball and junior varsity basketball teams have recently won NCCSA state championships. The Knights also field teams in volleyball, cheerleading, cross-country, soccer, and shooting skills.
