As you explore private school options in the Greenville area, what are your biggest priorities? A safe and welcoming environment, affordable tuition, excellent academics, and extracurricular activities come to mind for most parents.

At Greenville Christian Academy, our admissions process exists to help you explore what your child’s life will look like as a student, and to make an enrollment decision with confidence.

Learn more about the application process below, and be sure to reach out with any questions you may have. We look forward to meeting you in person soon to share more about the full range of opportunities your child will have on our campus.

5 STEPS TO BECOMING PART OF THE GCA FAMILY

We invite you to see what we’re all about by scheduling a campus tour. During this time, you can explore our facilities, meet staff, and have your questions answered.

If GCA feels like the right fit for your family, you can easily and quickly submit your application after your campus tour. Supplemental documents include your child’s birth certificate, most recent report card, and test scores (if applicable). For grades 7-12, a referral from the student's current teacher, along with their pastor or youth leader is required. Instructions on how to do that are found in the application.

After your application is complete, we’ll schedule a time for you and your child to meet the principal. This helps you learn more about GCA and allows us to learn more about your child’s unique learning style, interests, and needs.

Once the interview is complete, you will be contacted about scheduling a time to complete an assessment (grades 1-12), which focuses primarily on language and math skills. There is a $50 fee for this assessment (to be paid in cash at the time of assessment).

After your interview and assessment have been completed, you will proceed to the final step. This includes completing the online enrollment packet and paying the enrollment fee.

ADMISSIONS FAQ

We offer our current families the opportunity to re-enroll each year during the month of February. Open enrollment for new families begins March 1st and remains open until seats are filled.

GCA accepts the NC Opportunity Scholarship, a program that helps families who make below a certain amount of income pay tuition and fees at private schools.

We find that parents settle on GCA for three reasons:

  • We provide a distinctly Christian education, with all subjects taught from a biblical worldview.
  • Students receive a high-quality, traditional education that prepares them for college and life.
  • We see each student as a unique and valuable creation of God. Our Resource Program for special education needs allows us to serve students who have documented learning disabilities, or simply need extra help to thrive academically.
